What is Microblading/Microshading?

Microblading:

is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows that mimic the appearance of real hair.

Microshading:

is a form of semi-permanent makeup that involves shading eyebrows by making fine, minute dots along the brow area using a single, sterile needle attached to an electronic tattoo machine. This technique is also known as powder brows and is often used when creating ombre brows.

How long does this service take:

Approximately 2 ½ - 3 hours.

Does it hurt?

It can. Before microblading begins, your brows are treated with a numbing ointment to reduce any discomfort. The level of pain is like that of eyebrow threading. Overall, microblading is no worse than regular waxing or plucking. Although most do not feel any pain. Some clients can experience more sensitivity.

How do I take care of my brows after Microblading/Microshading:

You will be sent home with an aftercare sheet but, you should avoid getting your brows wet for about a week. You’ll want to use an antibiotic ointment for the first 24 hours after treatment, and then Aquaphor or a similar ointment for the following week.  Avoid using any products with glycolic acid on your brows, as this can fade the pigment. You should avoid submerging your face in water for the first 7-10 days or until all scabbing or flaking has subsided.

How long does it take to heal?

The eyebrow area will be slightly red after the procedure and color will appear very dark. This is normal for the procedure and part of the healing process. The color will fade by up to 40% as it heals. In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark, and you will notice slight scabbing. Do not pick at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the microblade area. The eyebrows will lighten up in color as it heals. No down time is required after microblading procedure.  It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. You'll notice the color is very light after the first two weeks after healing; the skin will have an opaque milky looking quality to it. This is known as the milk skin and is common in tattooing. This is due to the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed. True color will reveal itself once healed. It is very important you make a 6-8 week touch up to ensure that your eyebrows stay looking fabulous.

How Long Does it Last?

The results of microblading usually last between 1 and 3 years. Client results are based on skin type, tone, and lifestyle. Because it’s semi-permanent, the pigment will eventually fade. In some cases, it can be permanent. Microshading is a softer more powder looking brow. Results typically last 5 years but in some cases can be permanent. This technique is more permanent and stays looking crisper and more perfected. An annual color boost is recommended but left up to the client’s discretion

.

What is an Eyelash Enhancement/Permanent Liner:

An Eyelash Enhancement or liner is a permanent makeup process that creates the illusion of thicker, darker, and fuller lashes by defining the eye with pigment We gently fill in between the lashes with permanent color. The lash enhancement procedure can be done on the top of the eyelid, bottom lash line or both. Everyone has a preference, but we will guide you and share our professional opinion as well. Black liner is most popular, but we are also able to customize any shade, pigment to your liking.

Lip Blushing/ Lip Micropigmentation:

Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness. This treatment delivers very natural results, once healed. Lip blushing delivers a more natural look and can give the illusion of fuller lips, especially in clients that have started to lose the luster or their natural color in their lips. The permanent makeup procedure called a lip blush is used both to add color to the lips and to contour the lips into a slightly different, more defined, and a fuller looking shape.

How long does it last?

While lip blushing may not be permanent, it can last years and even still may not fully disappear. Healthy looking, full, colorful lips from lip blushing might last 1-3 years or longer, unlike lip fillers that require touch-ups every few months. If lip color fades over time, blushing treatments every two years can help you maintain aesthetically pleasing lips.

What to expect?

First, there’s pout prep. A topical anesthetic is applied to pre-numb the lips until our client’s pout is completely numb. Afterwards, the technician will draw the shape of the “new” lips so that you can evaluate and make any changes. When it comes to scabs, it’s important that they fall off naturally picking them can result in scarring or loss of pigment in those areas. Avoid workouts and sun exposure for two weeks if you plan on getting injections, wait a full month. Sleeping on your face could also cause the scabs to fall off prematurely. An occlusive ointment like Aquaphor should be worn to keep the lips properly moisturized. Initially, the color will be super vibrant, almost like a lip stain. It is important not to be misled by the immediate ‘after’ results. The immediate results look nothing like when the lips are healed. Once healed, the color fades approximately 30-50 percent and blends in with the natural lip color.

Does it Hurt?

Lips have a lot of feeling in them, while numbing is used the center of the lip can be slightly sensitive. Your technician will evaluate your pain and make sure you are comfortable throughout the procedure.

How does it work?

Fibroblast Plasma is becoming the treatment of choice by individuals to improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, sun damage and even dark circles under their eyes. During the Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening treatment, an electric arc, also referred to as plasma flash, forms between the tip of the treatment handpiece and the patient’s skin. A fibroblast is a type of cell in your body that produces collagen. Collagen is responsible for making your skin more elastic and giving it a foundation. As we age, our collagen production begins to drop off. This causes the lines, wrinkles, and folds in your skin. It can also cause your skin to droop, losing its youthful firmness. Fibroblast cells are the precious fibrous cells that help hold our collagen and elastin together. You are less likely to have any type of reaction after a fibroblast treatment session because nothing artificial or foreign enters the skin.
